Our Story

Katsuteかつて

Once upon a time, the best meal you ever had was at someone's house.

The name comes from the Japanese for water mill — 水車, Suisha — a quiet nod to the family name, to the turning of seasons, to the idea that a good table keeps moving, keeps feeding, keeps gathering.

This kitchen has always been the center of the house. The remodel just made it honest about that. Japandi bones, American appetite, Japanese precision. Whatever's on the grill, it was chosen with intention.

Suisha isn't a restaurant. It's a standing invitation.
